Top ten flower and foliage choices for a winter wedding

With winter weddings becoming increasingly popular we spoke to Chelsea Flower Show finalist Nicole Gamlin about her top 10 choices for winter wedding flowers.

Silver is a key colour on the fashion and design circuits. Silver gives compositions a quieter character and a more romantic flavour.

When viewed against brilliant white it creates a visual WOW that I like to use in winter wedding displays.
Using silver with a Christmas wedding will keep the theme light and sparkly, creating the ‘snow queen’ effect.

Add pine cones dusted with snow, to create a natural look.   Silver lanterns with soft candlelight, displayed on wooden logs - creates a relaxed ambience.

If you have a sparkly wedding dress and wish to continue the theme, swarvoski crystals and silver glitter can really shimmer.
